The Keema Artist Academy is our foundational training program designed to eliminate the chaos of inconsistent education and reconnect stylists with what matters most—skill, confidence, and purpose. Through a structured, stress-free curriculum and consistent, high-quality training, we empower emerging artists to align their growth with Keema’s vision of exceptional service. Our program is self paced and strengthens team connection, elevates technical mastery, and creates a clear path for stylists to thrive in a supportive, inspired, and high-standard environment. Kayla
I’m Kayla and I’ve been apart of the Keema team for almost two years now. After graduating from the University of Iowa with a degree in Marketing, I stepped into the beauty industry. I quickly realized my true passion is hair, took the leap to Cosmetology school and never looked back. I recently began the Artist Academy and am beyond excited to meet people and help them feel confident and transformed. I also manage Keema’s social media, and until I’m behind the chair, you can also find me at the shampoo bowls or welcoming you at the front desk!
Gabrielle
Hi I'm Gabrielle, I've loved doing hair for as long as I can remember- starting with my dolls, then friends, and experimenting on myself. I'm currently training in the Artist Academy at Keema, where I'm excited to help clients embrace their inner beauty and leave the chair feeling confident and glowing. When I'm not in the salon, I enjoy getting lost in a good book, soaking up the outdoors, and spending time with family and friends.
Mia
My name is Mia, I started my passion for the beauty industry when I was a junior in High School. I attended Beauty School throughout high school and was able to graduate at just 18 years old! Some things I’m passionate about outside of work is pilates, shopping and quality time with family and friends.
Paula
Hi I'm Paula! I’m a licensed cosmetologist, passionate about enhancing natural beauty and continuing to grow in my craft. I’m excited to be starting the Artistry Program at Keema Salon, where I continue to expand my skills and creativity. Outside of work, I cherish my time with family and love cheering on my son at soccer games.
